TonTon Club opened on 13 September 2013 in the middle of the Red Light District, in a former sex toy shop. A group of friends, a few second-hand arcade cabinets and one idea: build a place where adults could just play. Turned out it worked. That one idea grew into a whole night out: arcade, board games and a kitchen that surprises you just as much. Bao. Dumplings. Noodles. Full of flavour, and then there’s still the bar. In two spots: along the IJ in Noord and right in the Westerpark.
C’est bon, chez TonTon.
The concept
Play your way
TonTon wasn't built for one kind of night, or one kind of crowd. A first date fits here as easily as a work outing for twenty. You don't need a plan. The place takes care of that.
Asian comfort food & drinks
It doesn't stop at the games. Asian comfort food with a twist of its own, from bao and dumplings to yakitori and Korean fried chicken. And a bar that won't leave the classics alone: a Sichuan margarita, a Wasabi Mule, a Daiquiri with date-infused rum.
No barriers
Playing is always on. Entry is free, the board games too. For the arcade cabinets you use tokens: €1 each, €5 for six. Whether you go for Mario Kart, a pinball machine, a spinning Jenga table or a night through the board game cabinet, you decide what you do and how long you stay.
For every occasion
Birthday, team outing, bachelor party or just the whole crew of friends, TonTon can handle it. Small table or big group, we'll sort it. Ask about the options for groups and private hire, and we'll make sure it runs.
